Santa Maria de Llorell is located in a calm place but this doesn't mean that there is nothing to do. There are options for all the members of the family. 

Tossa de Mar, fishing town where are many restaurants of quality. The beach and the castle deserve a visit. There is a nautical port with possibility of renting boats. 

Lloret de Mar, is ideal for those that want night life. Very tourist, mainly in summer, there are many restaurants, bars and discos. Lloret has a beautiful marine boulevard specially pleasant with the fall of the sun. There are many leisure possibilities: golf field, aquatic park, go karts, diving, trips to beaches, boat rental.

Barcelona, tourist and cultural city par excellence, is just a one hour drive away. This way you can combine your vacations in the beach with making tourism in Barcelona. Have a look also at the train and bus combinations.
